Graduate feedback about this course:

As a stylist who is new to the industry with no experience, I was afraid I wouldn't be any good at this and completely discouraged. A family member insisted on taking your classes and as soon as I began I didn't want to stop. You made me feel so comfortable and broke down every question I could come up with into a simple answer. I am pleased to say I now understand the ins and outs of this job and can move forward with my new career proudly. Thanks again for your help!! Carly Capone, Certified Personal Shopper, USA

In my search for real training in personal shopping and styling, I was thrilled to find one that I could do online, fit within my lifestyle, was affordable and reputable.  The Fashion Stylist Institute is a perfect option for someone like myself who is re-entering the world of fashion and wants to brush up on important skills as well as broaden their education and qualification base.  The Personal Shopper Certification course was complete beginning to end.  It covered all the fundamental elements to be qualified to conduct my own personal styling business. The modules were full of great information that were easy to follow with illustrations that were helpful.  In doing the hands on exercises it really gave me a true sense of what it would be like to work as a Personal Shopper.  In fact, this was the best part, being challenged to practice elements learned in the module in the real world.  Thank you for providing a online Personal Shopping course.  I feel that now that I have a solid knowledge base and the appropriate credentials I can put myself out there where I've always wanted to be. Sincerely, Christina Nickerson, Certified Personal Shopper, USA

Dear Ms. Armour, I’ve always enjoyed the creativity of styling fashion and fortunately at 38yrs old I found you. I was skeptical about an online course; but as soon as I worked on the first module I knew I was going to love this class and that I was going to learn something.  I have enjoyed all the assignments, especially the one that made us go out and actually shop for a specific garment. The niche statement assignment was not easy at first because it causes you to really narrow down what you want to do with your business and who you want as your clients. It turned out to be my favorite part of the class. I have a better understanding of my business and myself.   I wanted to get an A+ on every quiz so they stressed me a bit but I really enjoyed them and I was sad to take my last one. I appreciate all the up-to-date forms, charts and manuals that you provide your students; they are so helpful. I am a visual learner so the videos helped in a big way to understand and absorb the information. Most of all I greatly enjoyed your comments and feed back on the free form quiz questions. It helped to know I was on the right track. Thank you for this informative class, for always answering my questions and I look forward to continuing my education with your school. Sincerely, Monica Hofer, Certified Personal Shopper, USA
